It's National Oyster Day!

It is official Saturday, August 5, 2017, marks  National Oyster Day in the United States of America. Oysters viewed as a delicacy especially since there are many ways people use oysters. Some oysters are commonly consumed by humans, cooked or raw.
Then other times they are harvest for their pearls.  

While, Windowpane oysters; are harvested for their translucent shells. These shells are used to make various kinds of decorative objects.
Whether it is a delicacy, jewelry, or a decoration piece it is safe to say oysters play a significant role.
