Celebrity makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur Archangela Chelsea Yusuf is one of the hottest celebrity makeup artists in the industry today. Originally from Indonesia, she bridges cultures and genders making her in-demand for both makeup and grooming in Hollywood. One to watch in 2017, Chelsea continues to work in LA and tours the world with celebrity clients in television, film, reality, and music. You can catch Chelsea's work on the most prominent red carpets such as the Emmy's and Golden Globes, on televisions ABC "Good Morning America" to FOX's "The Real" and "America's Next Top Model," and designer runways like Lanvin and Ankara. From the UK to Australia, Indonesia, Russia, and Italy, once clients work with Chelsea they request her to come back time and time again.
Chelsea began working as a makeup artist at age 15. As a painter, she was finding herself staring at a blank canvas, lacking inspiration, and her sister suggested she make a change and apply her painting skills to makeup. Immediately after making that change Chelsea realized this was her real passion and never looked back. Whether she is on tour with a client, or at home in Los Angeles, Chelsea lives and breathes makeup, spending her free time testing new products and writing reviews to ensure her clients receive only the best.
Some of Chelsea's most loyal clients are some of Hollywood's leading men including Charlie Weber from ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder," Cary Elwes from "Princess Bride," and James Tupper from ABC's "Revenge." Most recently Chelsea's work has been featured in publications including Vogue, Variety, People, The Observer, The Wrap, Deadline, Popsugar, just to name a few. Chelsea has been the in-house makeup artist for Composure Magazine for the past year and provides makeup and grooming to every celebrity client featured in the magazine including Naomi Grossman, Travis Wall, Karmin, Ryan Newman, Sarah Rafferty, Tahj Mowry, and Haley Ramm. In addition to an all-star roster of celebrity clientele, Chelsea is also the in-house makeup guru for Indonesia's insanely popular "iLook" series on Net TV, where she lends her expertise, granting Hollywood glam makeovers.
