While others may look at your success and think it came without hard work, was there a moment when you were overwhelmed, felt like giving up or thought your vision would not come to light? How did you overcome those thoughts?
(laughing) I have those moments more than I do not. I am overwhelmed, anxious, self- doubting, self-critical, no light at the end of the tunnel probably 85% of the time. However, for whatever reason, that small percentage that I cut myself a break for long enough to get anything done, always prevails. I try to remind myself that I am a person that would instead look back at my life and say I tried my best and failed or succeeded than knowing I had succumbed to fear. Because, to me, fear is not real. My aspirations are genuine; my worth ethic is real, my drive and determination are actual. Sometimes you have to look at the people before you and say if they made it, I can make it. Your goals are out there for the taking; it is just getting out of your mind long enough to reach out and grab them. Moreover, it has indeed been my biggest hurdle to overcome.
