Addition Elle, the Montreal-based fashion brand with over 30 years of experience catering to plus-size women, is once again taking its style democracy message to the runways of New York Fashion Week. While the brand is in its 3rd year at NYFW, this will be the first time they will be showing as part of the official shows, indicating just how far the brand and the fashion industry have evolved. Addition Elle will be showcasing their Fall/Winter collections from boundary-breaking supermodel Ashley Graham and body-positive role model Jordyn Woods. Then, taking a page from the new "see now, buy now" retail model that is sweeping the industry, Addition Elle will open a weeklong pop-up store inviting women to bring the runway home with them.
In partnership with IMG, Addition Elle will continue to make an impact on the fashion world by unveiling their designs at Skylight at Clarkson Square on Monday, September 11, 2017, at 1:00 PM. A highlight from these lines is the capsule collection for Love and Legend designed in collaboration with Jordyn Woods. Also, a main feature of the show will be the latest offering in Ashley Graham's eponymous line, in both fashion forward styles and her Essential must-have line.
Immediately following the show, Addition Elle will open the doors to its first-ever New York City pop-up shop offering not only the NYFW catwalk looks but their entire gamut of their private label brands. Addition Elle fit experts will be on hand for bra fittings, and style tips and the weeklong pop-up will feature an exciting schedule of special events and surprises. A complete schedule will be released soon. The shop will be open from Monday, September 11th - Sunday, September 17th from 11:00 am- 6:00 pm and located at 134 5th Avenue.
The show and the shop are all part of Addition Elle's ever-expanding footprint in the United States, as they are using this fashion event to launch their localized US site. This new initiative means faster more reliable deliveries and special US only events and promotions.
